 THIS EXCHANGE IS 18+ ONLY!!!

 

For this exchange you will be expected to create one (1) work and will, in return, receive one (1) work. The work MUST center around the trope of toxic love (the specifics based on the tags you choose to use).

 

Written works will have a 500 word minimum (no maximum) that stands on its own.

 

Artistic works will be a minimum of one clean and clear piece that stands on its own. If using traditional media please ensure the uploaded file represents the art well, and is on unlined paper.

 

Podfic works will have a 500 word minimum (no maximum) that stands on its own.

 

You are allowed to go beyond any of the minimums, but are not required to.

 

No AI-generated or assisted works are allowed.

 

We ask that our participants kudos/comment on works received in a timely fashion (ideally within week from release date, but we understand life happens).

 

Treats are welcome, and are subject to the same minimums as assignments.

 

If you cannot make your assignment we understand. Life happens to all of us! Please default before the due date through AO3. Failure to do so will result in a purge and is considered 'ghosting', which will result in a ban on future events run by the mods. This ONLY applies to ghosting NOT to defaulting.

 

In the case of a default your assignment will be put up as a pinch hit through our dreamwidth. We appreciate the timely notice for defaulting so we can take care of these pinch hits. We cannot guarantee a gift for anyone who defaults, but if you still receive one we ask that you follow our kudos/comment policy.

 

Again this exchange is 18+ ONLY. We will allow requests to ask for SFW or NSFW (explicit) materials. You are required to only fit what your giftee asks for. You will be matched on at least one fandom and pairing and at least one additional tag. You may create for anything your giftee requested, even if you did not offer it, as long as you avoid their DNWs. You must use at least one relationship, one medium, one additional tag, and one work type tag that your giftee requested.

 

Likes and dislikes are a useful guide for creators and can help spark inspiration, but they are NOT required to work off of these specifically. Your DNWs cannot force a creator into making a specific piece of work- they must allow the creator to have their creativity. DNWs must be followed and can only be enforced if they appear in the sign up box on AO3.

 

You'll have a minimum of one fandom/relationship/character tag/additional tag and a maximum of ten fandoms, with ten relationships per fandom. You will only be guaranteed a gift if you have three unique fandoms (ie we will not hold up reveals for those with less than three unique fandoms, but if you match on just one then we still welcome that). DNWs cannot be used to box your creator in, and must be included on the AO3 sign up page.

All freeforms have to be related to toxic love- ie 'Coffee Shop AU' wouldn't be accepted but 'Char A uses an aphrodisiac in Char B's coffee every day to make them love them more' would be.

 

RPF is allowed. All RPF nominations must be 18+ and famous in their own right. RPF nominations may not be (in)famous for their fascism, crimes, bigotry, or otherwise controversial stances/behavior. The mod team reserves the right to reject any RPF nominations as needed.
